We're so glad you asked! We are a Kootenay based subscription box company! We curate Kootenay made items four times a year (once per season) and deliver them to you!
Your credit card will be billed on the first day of the month prior to the month that the box is released. So that means November 1st, February 1st, May 1st and August 1st. (Boxes are released December, March, June and September)
No, but that's truly the best part! Let us do the product research for you so all you have to do is sit back, relax and wait for that box to come!
Each box has 6-8 items in it and they can be anything from beauty to wellness, stationary, brands, non perishable food and home decor. You can be sure each item has been carefully selected by us and is of the highest quality.
Don't like surprises? But they're so fun! Think of it this way; every season you get a present that we know you're going to love. It's unique, its thoughtfully put together, and the items in it are handmade by people just like us and you. It's like having your birthday 4 times a year!!!
Unfortunately not. However if an item is damaged upon arrival then please contact us right away!
We understand that not everyone shares the same style or taste. We are doing our utmost to make sure that everything we put in our boxes is the highest quality. Here's what we think; if an item isn't quite your personal style or taste, why not stash it away as a super unique gift for a last minute birthday present or a hostess gift!
At this stage of our business we are only able to offer shipping to a Canadian address. If you are an international customer looking to purchase a Rivers & Oak subscription, please let us know because maybe one day we'll be able to offer shipping to more countries.
If you live in the West Kootenays you have the option to pick up at one of our Pick Up Parties (Please use the code LOCALLOVE at checkout). If you are not close enough for pickup then our standard shipping rate for anywhere in Canada is $15.
